Emma is a Los Angeles-based costume designer and illustrator. She has a BFA in film production and studio art from Chapman University, and an MFA in costume design from UCLA. This educational background has provided her with a strong foundation in clothing construction, costume history, and fine arts. 

Her work encompasses a range of mediums, styles, and stories. Whether she is designing for film, theater, or opera, Emma believes the artistry of costume design is rooted in empathy. Her character-first approach to design work places an emphasis on storytelling and gives each character a breath of life through the clothing they wear.
